At Jennings American Legion Hospital, the experienced nurses of the Obstetrics Department are all certified in Neonatal Advanced Life Support and are knowledgeable in the specific challenges related to giving birth.

The Obstetrics Department provides premiere services to patients who are experiencing term labor, premature labor, pregnancy complications, or pre-term/post-term difficulties. The department also provides medical treatment to newborns and provides stabilization for sick neonatal infants who require intensive care treatment.

At Jennings American Legion Hospitals, soon-to-be parents can share their new addition in a safe, relaxed and community-oriented environment, while still receiving the special care they need.
