New Shuttle Service Now Provided at Jennings American Legion Hospital

Getting from one place to another during a construction project can be tricky; even more so for hospital patients and visitors. Construction for the new state-of-the-art cath lab is underway at Jennings American Legion Hospital. And, while the end result will add much-needed cardiology services to the hospital, getting through the construction phase can be a challenge. That is why the JALH is pleased to provide a new shuttle service for patients and visitors.
Donated by the Auxiliary of JALH, the six-passenger golf cart will be available for shuttle service from the parking lots of the hospital to the main entrance, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
“While we’re undergoing the construction of the new cath lab, we realize it makes it more challenging to get around,” said Terry Terrebonne, Chief Executive Officer with JALH. “This shuttle service will provide a more convenient way to get to and from the hospital from our parking lots. We appreciate this generous donation from our auxiliary members.”
While the shuttle will be especially helpful during this construction phase, the service will continue indefinitely. “In response to the growth of the hospital, we are pleased to offer the shuttle to visitors and patients,” said Terrebonne.
