Williams Receives Award

Dana Williams, Chief Operating Officer with Jennings American Legion Hospital, received the Sabra M. Hamilton Award for 2007 for best research thesis in the program of Healthcare Administration by the University of Minnesota. Williams recently accepted the award during the American College of Healthcare Executives Congress held in Chicago.
Williams received her undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Health Information Management. She is certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator, and has been with JALH since 1984. Williams is a member of the Executive Committee, the administrative leadership group at JALH.
